Board of Directors

The Grace Commons Foundation Board is made up of a dedicated group of Grace Commons Church Covenant Partners.  There are currently 12 Directors and one Executive Director. 

Our Board members have a strong history of volunteer service within Grace Commons Church and other Christian organizations.  Areas of service include holding the positions of:

• Elder
• Trustee
• Deacon
• Sunday school teacher
• Lay counselor
• Safety and security advisor
• Global missions council member
• Short-Term international missions trip participants
• Personnel and budget committee member
• Lamb’s lunch chef
• Choir member 
• Choir parent
• Stephen minister
• Usher
• Mentor for men and women in their faith journey
• Pastoral care committee member
• Men’s life small group moderator

Directors bring diverse experience to the management of the Foundation.  Through this gifted group of volunteers, Board members come to the table with experience in project management (both domestic and international), entrepreneurial endeavors, and executive leadership in humanitarian environments.  Directors manage the resources of the Foundation with years of experience in the financial services industry doing investment management, investment protection, fiduciary investment, financial appraising, and business valuations.  Experience with fundraising for large foundations provides structure for our Foundation for growth and outreach.  Several Directors have served honorably and for long durations in the US military. 

These experiences generate visionary thinking for opportunities to extend the hand of Christ through other non-profits who work in our local communities as well as international destinations.  As a Board, we look for opportunities to assist these unique entities as they serve the needs of the vulnerable and identify fertile ground to share the Christian faith.
